Faith Communities for Immigrant Justice

Peace and Earth Committee is offering a postcard writing activity, and once again this time it will be to say "thank you" to an elected official, in this case our Buncombe County Sheriff, Quentin Miller. We will be thanking him for defying the current regime's directive imposing upon local law enforcement to participate in rounding up people based on their appearance, detaining them, and in some cases incarcerating or even rendering them to hostile foreign lands. We have pre-printed cards from Faith Communities for Immigrant Justice, of which we are a member community -- all you have to do is sign it. The cards will be collected and delivered in person to Sheriff Miller's office by a representative of FCIJ.
