Each "Fifth Firstday" (which is the last Firstday in a month with 5) the Peace and Earth Committee has promoted the contacting of our legislators on a topic selected by the committee. Our legislators have easy ways to be contacted.

Some advice from FCNL on writing effective "postcards"
- specify the bill by number & name,
- make a "clear ask" stating exactly what the legislator should do,
- add a personal note to make the message unique as well as to show how the bill affects you and/or those you know and love
